“I want to help my clients live their best lives. To figure out what lights them up, how they will feel most fulfilled, and leave a legacy they are proud of. Matching resources to dreams is my specialty.”

Coming out of Dartmouth College as an Economics major, I thought I wanted to be an accountant. It made perfect sense – I was great at math and enjoyed the puzzle that was debits and credits.  But then one day sitting in a room alone, working on a spreadsheet, I realized that while I loved numbers, I was a people person. I wanted to be changing lives, not companies.

At the time, I was lucky to be working at a large CPA firm in Cambridge, Massachusetts with a financial planning department. So I got my start in financial planning there and then moved on to an international law firm in Boston from 1997 until 2001.

I loved helping people establish financial confidence knowing that everything was on track – from managing their money, to sending their kids to school, to planning for retirement.  Since I still hadn’t kicked the love of being a student, I also got my MBA from Boston University, a Master’s of Science in Finance from Boston College, and I became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

In 2001, it was time to follow my dream of being an entrepreneur, and Abaris Financial Group was born .  We’ve since grown from me alone in a small office to a six person staff with over 175 clients.

My passion for personal growth started in 2012, when I impulsively decided to attend Jon Kabat-Zinn’s mindfulness program at UMass. It was a life-changing introduction to the power of mindfulness. When I combined mindfulness with the work I did with an amazing coach and a life planner, a new path opened up for me and for my work at Abaris Financial Group.

I personally started achieving goals I hadn’t had the courage to pursue, or that had never even occurred to me before. And just as important, I let go of things in my life that no longer fit with my values and life purpose. There is clarity, freedom, and abundance when you look at your life through the larger lens of fulfillment.   It was clear that my life purpose is to inspire growth in others and I wanted to incorporate more of that at Abaris Financial Group.

So I pursued training through the Coaches Training InstituteThe Gottman Institute ,  The Kinder Institute, and The Financial Transitionist Institute®.   I became a Master Registered Life Planner (RLP®) and a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC®). I pour all of this experience and passion into my work with clients through life planning and coaching. My goal is to  inspire, motivate, and empower my clients to live their uniquely fulfilling life.  I invite you to join me on this journey.
